#40552 - RE: Robotics Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Oren,
My Homepage is dedicated to robotics on the 8052. As for links to other stuff, I like ePanorama or I just Google for stuff want. The Robotics FAQ is a good place to start looking about general robotics things. My only tips are Practice your soldering. Prototype everything! Always run your code in the simulator, it will find 99% of your problems. At the risk of promoting a non-8052 board, I would suggest using the OOPic It's easy to program, there is a wealth of example projects on the site for it, and you can get things going very quickly. If I have an idea, I always develop it on the OOPic before I use the 8052, it's much easier. The boards are about $50 and the only other thing you need is a simple to make cable, and a PC, then you are away! No need for programmers, burners, or making your own boards. Chris. |
