#41097 - RE: Slooow clocking an 8052 // Philip
Responding to: ???'s previous message
An AT89c2051 with a 1.8432MHz xtal (and no pull-ups on P1.0/p1.1 ~370ua.

Disagree, I can see a graph in the datasheet of AT89C2051 (page 12) showing frequency vs ICC (active).

At 5V and 1.8432MHZ, it is approximately 5.1-5.2 mA. These graphs show that At89C2051 can never attain such ICC (370uA) even in Idle mode.

May be I am looking at old datasheet but I can see the following notes as well

Notes:
1. XTAL1 tied to GND for ICC (power-down)
2. P.1.0 and P1.1 = VCC or GND
3. Lock bits programmed

How do you get such an incredibly low ICC with AT89C2051?
