80196 is 16bit and 8052 is 8bit.
80196 belongs to MCS96 family and 8052 belongs to MCS51 family Apart from above, to decide which is best for you and whether you can get away with a 8052 in place of 80196 is a task that is next to impossible UNLESS one knows what you plan to with either of them. Raghu |
