I have a hard time interfacing a hd44780 16x2 display to a PC serial port
What is the type of interface on your LCD? If it is not serial interface, then there is no way that you can use this LCD on PC COM port until you have a suitable interface which converts from RS-232 to some TTL signals (required by LCD). So please explain how did you connect the LCD to COM port. |
