#41461 - RE: pull up resistors on adress bus Responding to: ???'s previous message |
If the RISE/FALL TIME of the signal is SHORTER than 2x progation time, you will get ringing. If the circuit trace were resistive instead of inductive, ringing would not occur.
Has anyone ever confirmed or disproved my reports of external ram access REQUIRING pullups when that data is written to the ram on some derivatives ? My observation was that the address was emitted on P0 with strong pullups, then the data was emitted on P0 WITHOUT pullups. I believe the device was P89C664. |
