#4203 - Manchester decoding. |
Have a huge problem to solve the decoding of manchester-code
for our radiomodem with 8051 microcontroller. Atmel..!! The encoding i've solved, as i think, in a smart way with Timer0. Easy to change the bit-rate. There are no problems sample the received signals, but how do I handle the calculations with controlled sample. The radiomodems leavs always a nois with a lots of bits in different rate, but I'm only interested of decoding the 'right signals'. It's 8 synk-bits, start and stop-bits. There is also a little bit fading who fluctuate the dutycycles. The rate for the tranfer is between 4800 and 9600 bit/s If I could read the manchester-codes, there is no problems for me to solve the translating of memorized manchester to normal characters. But for me the calculations in assembler is very difficult- I don't now how to do. - biterror, bitsynk bla bla...!!!??? Can anyone give me some advice T.I.A Magnus Munthe magnus@comlink.se |
