My knowledge of TCP/IP is very thin. At Verifone we contacted a Scottish company that had a TCP/IP stack that would run on our Zilog Z-180 terminals... I just had to check that we had the capability to do it with our existing circuitry. I took another job before any work started on it. As I understand it though, its about "packet" routing and reconstruction biased toward multipath routing delays and arrival reordering. I'd be surprised if it dealt with glitchy cable connections as radio links would be considered. To some degree, a radio link is a superset. -Jay C. Box |
