Hello Michael,
Thats interesting. Do you mean to say that with a buffer in between, one could implement a Firewire with a 8052 ? And assuming that one does have a buffer, and it is full, can the transfer be halted till the 8052 clears the buffer ? Not that tomorrow I am going to implement Firewire but just thought will ask you , since you seem to have done some work or thinking in that direction. The way you put it across, it does sound like the typical double buffering that we do with PC based analog Data Acquistion cards... Raghu |
