I am away from my main machine at the moment but when I get back I will have a look at the code I have,It consists of a standard 8052 memory interface front end whth addressable registers to accesss the data and then it has the actual firewire interface but I cannot remember how big it is in terms of number of logic blocks it needs.I will get back tonight and let you know.I remeber that I cunningly put a latch in the front end so you dont need a '373 but apart from that its a blank
