I am working on a control system proposal for an 8052 based system that seems to want some operator control switches that work as follows:

The user would hold down the push button part way to engage a "slow speed" mode. Futher depression of the push button to full down would engage a "full speed or fast" mode. It would be highly desireable of there were a tactile feedback at either or both of the levels of depression. Like easy push first and then hard push. Or easy push and then click feedback.

The contact arrangement would likely be nicest as two separate NO (normally open) contact sets. However other contact arrangements can be handled in the 8052 firmware.

The switch would be a control signal level thing and not a 30 ampere 250 VAC whammer. It also wants to be relatively low cost.

Here is the question...
Has anybody here ever encountered a switch like this and know where to get them? The alternate option of creating one of these things from scratch with two switch modules and a custom actuator is way beyond the feasiblity budget for the project I am proposing.
