#43570 - RE: Multi level push switch. FOUND !!! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Many thanks to Rob Klein for pointing out this data sheet.....
Close looking at the data sheet will reveal that a part number K12GO NT 1.5 3.5/7N is a dual level tact switch. Rob says that this switch is available in Europe at Farnell under order code 415-6444. I also found them in stock at DigiKey here in the US (could I say right here in my home state of Minnesota!!) under part code K12GONT1.5 3.5/7N-ND @ $5.27 each. I ordered some yesterday and have them inhand today!! This switch is exactly what I was looking for. It has 4 contacts on the bottom arranged in two FORM A contact sets. One set closes as the button is pressed part way down and the first tactile click is felt. Further depression of the switch causes the second pair of contacts to close at the point a separate but distinct second tactile click is felt. Once again ... thanks Rob. Michael Karas |
