#42518 - RE: AD-conv. and averages, tricks needed... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Tough Ragh,
(do you mind me calling you this way, Mr Raghunathan R? You are ruthless, what comes to your way of teaching. Are you a teacher?) ;-) Heh, it is always the same thing. If one asks a simple question, engineers are around to change small things to a huge problem. I asked from my friend, how would he do such a little calculation? And guess what, he dind't have an answer, but he find something that I didn't know to exist: http://www.8052.com/math.phtml Silly me. That is propably the best place for me to start. I wonder why doesn't anybody here didn't show that to me or asked to search from google... I tried, perhaps with wrong keywords. Well, ok, I am a bit malicious now, but you guys really shouldn't always try to find the hard way when you give your advices. Many poor souls have been nailed here, just becouse they are (I am too) beginners, trying to get started, in a new world for them, but an easy task for you. So, I am taking my first beer from the sixpack (referring to my earlier message, bought only one, just in case) and start thinking low thoughts (assembler). "Smiley here" You guys are great, I like the way you tease hackers (where? when?) and try to make students to do their homework orthodoxly, but I am a slooow, grown up guy from freezy Finland, who has a new hobby. I just want to learn things, slowly. Better leave this topic behind and thank all of ya for your help, I probably can manage this by myself. Ofcourse, code from Hans was a good help. I wish you all the most wonderful saturday evening, and so on. ;-) Kari PS. My english skills are developing every time I write to this forum, thank you for that too... I am so happy about it. Second beer, ready to be launched. |
