I do not know about the camera, but beware. Most cellphones use an external chip built into the cable to commect to a PC, if that is the case with your camera, such a cable should be used. To make a '51 do RS-232, you need to use a chip such as MAX232 that convert the logical levels to/from the '51 to the prescribed RS232 voltage levels.
