#44365 - RE: automotive power supply.another link Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hallo people,
after studying the given link, I think, serious problems can arise from load dump effect, when car has NO load dump protection circuit. Then, developers should keep this dangerous effect in mind. For all who want to build automotive power supply I give here another good link: http://www.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/5484.pdf Company 'ST' manufactures a real nice device, which is providing load dump protection very easily. It's worth to have look at that datasheet! Bye, Kai |
