It would appear to me you don't know what you are talking about. The circuit I posted (or similar circuit) is used in about 98% of all batter chargers made in the World!

Talk is cheap. Why don't you post your favorite circuit so we can see if it is better?

You would show the door to whom ever displayed this circuit. Are you self employed or are you a wage slave? If You are self employed then you can show them to door other wise eat crow!

Congratulation on spotting the error on the full wave bridge. I saw the error after I posted the circuit but it was to late to correct the error. I was going to post a correction but I decided to wait to see how many so called guru spotted the mistake. It was a trap laid to catch the ignorant. It did a very good job.

The Arthur of the circuit has been notified about the error and will hopefully correct the error.
