Hi John
Use CD4094 and ULN2003 as the output of the 4094. The CD4094 can be driven with 3 lines of the 89C52 ( Clk, Ls and Data). You must chain 4094 by connecting pin 10 to pin 2 of the next stage. For multiplexing you can use a port ( like P1 ) with TIP 127. I have around 2500 equipment working perfectly since 1993 with this simply circuit. And of course DO NOT use 8255. Good Luck Daniel |
