You only need a phase measurement to get your power factor, if your waveforms are sinusoidal. The tricky thing is if the loading is not sinusoidal, because for your power calcs you need true RMS current and voltage, and the phase.
Still, its not rocket science. More important is the input signal conditioning. Steve |
