I have implemented Software based dual slope integration which gives a date rate of minimum 25 samples per sec.

Data length is 24bit. In addition i have used software display (7digits) multiplexing with timer0 running at 2 milli second. Interrupt driven Serial etc.

Currently i have used rolling average of 32 data. Please note my application speed is not so important as Accuracy / Repeatability.


Currently i am able to achieve 10kg with 1 gram (1/10000).

Still i believe that if i use better filtering methode, i can stretch the resolution upto 1/15,000.
I have taken more care on PCB, signal conditioning etc.

I am really interested in knowing how to implement practically FIR filters in SW.

I programmed the entire application in Assembly and code size is just above 4K.

I have got working sw rountines in Asssembly for

unsigned 32bit / 24bit divide, unsigned 16*16 mult, Unsigned 32bit*16bit mult, 24bit binay to BCD conversion. If you need above please contact.
