CD4094 for O/P

It's very easy to work with these shift registers. You can use 3 port pins implementing 3-wire-bus: Data, Clock, Strobe.

Several CD4094 can be connected as following:

All pins 15 to Vcc
All pins 1 to Strobe
All pins 3 to Clock
Pin 2 of (n+1)th CD4094 to pin 9 of nth CD4094
Pin 2 of first CD4094 to Data

This gives a nice, cheap and low EMI solution.
