#46886 - I2C 4 or 8 ch. 8 bit dac |
Hey Forum
As an add on to an existing system, I need some analog outputs. As the dimmercircuits, my client wants me to control, needs 0-10V/10 mA on the controller input, I went "gogeling" for a multichannel DAC, who met these specs. Maxim does a lot of DAC's with a nice I2C interface, but nothing that fits perfectly. I also tried looking for some readymade product but without luck so far. Does any of you girls and guys know about a readymade product. or if I have to make it my self, wich DAC to choose. I think i'll have to buffer the output with an op-amp - LM 324 - so a 4 or 8 ch. 8 bit DAC in DIP, with I2C - a MAX 520 perhaps. Any comments apreciated Ha' en god dag Per Guldmann |
