Hi Hans,

What does your voltage reference look like? The analog voltage reference should be separate from the digital ground as much as possible to avoid noise.

What is your sampling rate? That is, how much time elapsed between these readings? Are you picking up mains noise? Can you look at the voltage reference and input with a good scope and see clean signals?
