Also, if you use multiple DPTRs you might have to add the overhead of saving & restoring them all to all your interupt routines...
The trick here - as I see it - is to use only one either in the main or the ISRs. That way, regardless you only need save one on interrupt. I have rarely had the desire to use dual dptrs in both. Erik |
