Way back when i started using DS'320 types i looked at KEIL's output and also noticed that it's use of the dual Data Pointer was rather limited. I thought this was a shame because the '320 allows you to know what pointer is in place at a given time so the use of the dual pointer isn't that dangerous. Recalling, the old Z80 which wouldn't tell you which reg set was in place so most compilers didn't bother to use the alternate reg bank. regards, p |
