#48369 - RE: bursty ale
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Dear Rajashree,

"the ale is much, much less bursty after disconnecting the ram and eprom, from port 0 and 2. but these are essential to the project. what do i do now?

Kai only asked you to disconnect the Ram and Eprom as a means of spotting the trouble - not to eliminate them altogether!!!

Incidentally is the hardware a wire wrap or hardwired one or a PCB ? Which is it ?

At times I have had problems with long tracks / wires on the data lines and a crystal that is sitting one mile away from the MCU pins. If you can explain the setup a little bit more it may help..

Raghu
