May I add something? If 74HC-MOS is too slowly I would prefer 74AHC-MOS instead of AC-MOS. It's not so fast, but makes less trouble. I would allways choose smallest package style for mcu. This minimzes ground bounce along ground connection between die and ground pin of package. Series termination resistors recommended can be troublesome, when many loads are connected to bus and when bus routing is extended over a large area. Bus routing should be kept as short as possible and should not be extended over more than 10cm. Bye, Kai |
