In india the cheapest one is about 10,000.00 INR roughly $220. And still it doesnt have all the facilities one might be looking for.
I am not talking about the one using the cd, its the no moving part one type , small reliable and consumes so less power. If you have to make a journey ( as i have to make all the time) in india of about 2000km you would know how dull and boring it becomes without the music, right now only thing that i can carry with me is a walkman and few of the cassetes and lots of batteries. but for a journey of 40-48 Hrs where you are awake for about 30 Hrs even six pairs of rechargable NiCd's are not enough. So the sollution get a mp3 player and a few dataflash cards holding your music ( hey you can compile your own list), and a few batteries should last the whole journey. making it a little more comfortable. vinod |
