Dear Sir,

I am using 8031, 8279, and two 8255 in my application. I have joined the RESET line of all the devices. I am following the standard RESET circuit of INTEL i.e. using a 8.2K resistance tied to RESET and Ground, and 10 micro farad capacitor between RESET and VCC. I am using a 6MHz crystal frequency for 8031.

I am facing a lot of problem with this kind of Reset circuit arrangement. Many times one of the above devices doesnot reset properly and some times they do. Also, the behaviour varies with different lots and makes of 8031 available in the market.

Please advise.
