#49598 - Interrupt Driven Timer |
i've a program to transfer serial data from Tx and Rx receives the same. the program uses a delay routine to send the next byte of information from Tx to Rx. this delay is a procedure with NOP's and simple counting loops. this is how the delay is obtained.
now i want to make an TIMER-0 interrupt driven DELAY routine(000B). The Tx is already using the Timer1 and TH1 is loaded for setting the baud rate. now how timer0 can be used to produce the desired 1 sec/ 2 sec or n sec delay. as it also requires TH1 and TL1 for putting initial values to obtain certian calculated delay. how can both timers run with serial interrupt. thanks pawan |
