#49714 - RE: Timer driven Interrupt Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I am NOT confused about timers and interrupts.
The original poster VERY CLEARLY indicated he wants to use a timer to create a delay for Rx to Tx wrap around sending delay instead of using a software loop for the delay. He just got confused as to how he could use TH1 and TL1 for two things at once (ie baud rate and a timer) without realizing that timer 0 has its own TH0 and TLo registers. You guys need to please stop trying to confuse the issue for the original poster, when and if he comes back. The reason he wants to have the delay is of no consequence to the discussion. He just wants to have a delay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I say let him have it. Michael Karas |
