To use TIMER0 you would need to use the TH0 and the TL0 registers. These are separate from the TH1 and TL1 resources you are using for the serial port baud rate.
It is totally possible to do what you desire. I think you just got confused as to which SFRs are being part of TIMER1 and those of TIMER0. Hope this helps Michael Karas |
