Are there any not so huge decryption algorithms that would be good for decrypting ICP (in-circuit programming) data?

The encryption is handled by the PC, so no sizespeed constraints there. 2-3k with 200 bytes of RAM is about all I have for decryption on the 8051.

I saw the Bruce DES code, but a quick compile showed it was too hefty to implement in my case.

I *could* use a simple XORrotate key, but I'm hoping something else might exist that is a bit more secure.
