Just an update to let you guys know that I got it running.
I soldered in 8 resistors and also found a cold solder on the OE line (while the pin was at 0v, it wasn't being driven there by the uC). I really should have checked that to start with, but we live and learn... Anyway, cheers for your help guys - it's much appreciated. George Ricketts |
