well i havent set anything in latch register ... i m just using following command
Mov C,P2.1 ; move whatever on P2.1 to carry
is there any initialization required (i.e latch register bit set ) ... how to do that ..any help in that regard

ADE7756 is properly grounded and uC has also been grounded properly and as ther are on 2 different board using 2 different power supplied so i have also made the gorund common

i didnt get what it means ??

r u talking abt ADE7756 .. i dont think there are 2 grounds ... well in the meanwhile i look at data sheet again
