#50077 - RE: UART with Timer 1 ? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
How do i use timer 1 to utilise the UART of 8052/AT89C52 ? Is it possible to use it like in 8051 ?
Most likely, very few '51 derivatives do not allow that. There are, who knows how many, '51 derivatives out there, most have some added features. If your chip (see the data sheet) has a timer 1 and a UART, but not a 'baudrate generator' the answer is with 99% certainty 'yes'. For the 8052 the answer is yes for the AT89C52 I would with much confidence guess YES. Now, of course, I could go read the datasheet for you, but why do you not do that yourself. Erik |
