I was just about to undertake a project
using the AT89s53. Why are you about to
abandon it? What kind(s) of problems
could I expect to face if I use it?

Are you saying that since Tecmic has bought Atmel, any problems that Steve
may have run into with the AT89s53 in
the past should not disturb future
designers?
