hi raj,
throhput is the quantity of data transmited in certain interval of of time. operation sending a baud (5/6/7/8 bits) includess over heads of synch bits error detection bits etc. more if you use parity bits , on detection of error on the reciever side there it will be required to retrnsmit the data. this overall protocol uses serial Tx/Rx and many bits other than what was intended to transfer. so throughput is the number of useful data byte communicated during a certain interval of time. abhishek |
