We have used Optex displays before, mainly because of availability (Apollo and Digi-Key).
One model in the Digi-Key catalog (DMF5005-NY-LY-AKE) is priced well below other similar models. However, it requires a LCD drive voltage of around -12V, which varies significantly over temperature. I looked at a few other data sheets, and that seems typical. Looks like I get to add more to the power supply section of the schematic too... -- Tom Bachmann |
