We are in the process of integrating smart card functionality in our 8051 based products. I have studied quite a few documents giving details of smart cards and their protocols. I have following queries.
1. I have details of T=0, T=1 protocols. I need details on 23 wire, IIC interface. How can I make my reader capable of reading all above?
2. How can I differentiate between MPU and memory cards?
3. How can I make my reader compatible with various devices (smartchips-MPU or memory) from different IC manufacturers?
4. What care do I need to take for reading 3V and 5V smartchips by same reader?
