I don't think an 8 pin dip to soic is going to add much noise ... it's a very small distance. The larger adapters will have much worse trace lengthening.

The original post did not say what it will be used for.

Some adapters are available from Digikey for 7$ each from manufacturer Aries. Very high priced but a bargain compared to making your own for one use.
