I have not placed any info on the net as of yet since I's still working on my interface, it's wired up and I now need to check that I have the correct control signals, and then try and read/write to the HDD. It should not take me much longer.

For information an alternative method used by some is to use a 8255 to provide the interface. see pjrc.com for details. It's slow!

My interface should be much faster as the overheads are lower, and I's using a Dallas HSM for the MCU.

I fully intend to put details on the web once I've got it sorted.
