Sort of off 8051 topic, but I'm developing an application for a P89C668. I have a set of datapoints that are to be included in my table. I need to extrapolate the values beyond the last valid datapoint. For more accurate data, I would like to try and fit the data within the curve instead of a linear like extrapolation.

I have both Matlab and Excel available and am hoping that one of these tools can generate my datapoints for me.

Anyone ever done this? Any technique or tool you could recommend?
