Oh, if you're going to be having the PC do all the extrapolation that simplifies things a bit. You can go ahead and use all those floating point numbers in the calculations that you probably wouldn't want to use in the 8051.

I like to use Excel (maybe because I don't have Matlab). When I've got my table the way I like it, I save it as a .CSV file. A tiny bit of editing this file gives me a C array initializer.
