Power Supplies
I once worked for a company that put radio linked microcontroller based material handling display terminals upon electric forklifts - In my opinion that was one of the worst power input applications I've seen, at least on the ground. They tried to get a sane 5 Vdc at 2.5 Amps out from a +12 to +60 Vdc input that just happened to have swings as long as 3 seconds up to 120 Vdc or down to -60 Vdc when the electric motors were rocking. :) If anyone knows how to design that right in a small package, send it to me and I'll forward it to my old boss on his next birthday. :) aka J |
