The 'ideal' value for the stack pointer is the first slot after your variables. That may leave empty space, or give you overflow. If it leaves empty space, so what; if it overflows, you must move some variables to XDATA.
If your question is "how much space must I reserve" there is no answer. Theoritically you can calculate it, that, however, I have never managed to do correctly in large programs. Erik |
