#52487 - RE: stack pointer Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi mak,
there is no ideal value for SP, there is a proper value. what i used to do is i skip memory loactions for the one two or three (depending on use)register sets starting form zero, after i define my variables contiguously and then rest of the space is left for the stack. this should suffice in size for the all the pushes directly by instructions push and pop or indirectly by call, and interrupts. in this case be carefull about the depth of nested procedure calls. abhishek |
