Why a "virtual" oscilloscope ? Won't it be "real" when you build it ? You are not simulating it. A virtual oscilloscope would not have a real input, which you do have.

If you used a small graphics LCD you would have a very nice tool for low-speed signals when you're done... and no PC to lug around.
