#5262 - Dividing a clock by two |
Appreciate any advice you can offer on this....
I need to do the divide-by-two on a clock source to drive a VFC part. What I designed uses the typical TTL low power 7474, which works great. Are there other ways to divide the clock by two besides a 7474? Anything cheaper than using 7474 and provides lower power would improve the design. Dividing the clock in SW is not an option! If the only resonable way to accomplish this is the 7474, is the 74HC74 the best choice for power consumptioncost? Thanks for your advice Mike |
