#52899 - RE: Trouble with interupts in C Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have many permutations of this code with the same results it seems no mater how I come up with solving the problem I keep ending up with the same results.
BTW the code is a part of a lab assignment so I'm not looking for anyone to "do it" just for some pointers on how I might figure out why it isn't doing what I'm expecting it to do. The behavior should be as follows. LED7 follows LED1 in the main part of the program unless an interrupt is enabled. I have two interrupt driven LEDs one will be driven by a signal generator. The second will be driven by a single normally open switch tied to ground. External interrupt 0 will drive LED0 and external interrupt 1 will drive LED1. The serial port should be interrupt driven for Serial 0. When the receive buffer is activated there are two possible options when SW1 the contents of SBUF0 should be placed on P0 and echoed back across the port. When SW1 is low the contents of SBUF0 should be placed in the internal 1k of sram and then passed from the sram to Serial1. This of course is how it should work and not exactly how it does work. I also added LED2 so I could see when serial activity was happening and immediately upon reset I get a pulsing LED2 which I have not been able to hook up to a scope to see how fast but it is fast enough that the LED looks like it is on but dimmer than it normally would be when on constant. |
