#5299 - RE: Ethernet Controller |
Peter,
I must admit that I've no experience with USB and NT (4.0 that is). The driver for the FTDI chips is compatable with Windows 2000 which I understand is the next generation of NT. I am currently having a few difficulties with my controller and have now developed a new design using a Waferscale PSD 813F1 device, once this is working and stable, I then intend to implement a IDE HDD I/F before moving on to the USB ( I have the sample devices for both parallel and serial interfaces). So it may be a while before i get to the USB, by then however I should be running W2000. This is a personal project so I have limited time to devote to it. Richard |
