I agree, the posts of Stanley are a bit confusing. I have the strong feeling, that there's something wrong with his grounding and shielding technique, which makes his application suffering from EMI. It's not so easy to combine microcontroller circuit with motor H-bridge driver.

I asked him whether he is using star point ground routing and he answered 'not to use PCB'. Also confusing... If he is not using proper grounding, shielding and filtering techniques in his application, we will hear more from Stanley in the next weeks...
